This disclaimer relates to Naturopathic consultations provided by Junko Okuda (Naturopath, Australian Traditional Medicine Society (ATMS) Association Member 20088) ABN: 43 016 090 867. She offers private naturopathic consultations face to face, via phone or online.

 

She is a member of the Australian Traditional Medicine Society and all consultations are conducted in accordance with their code of conduct:

She takes her role as a complementary health care provider seriously and participate in continuous practicing education for example, educational seminars and events. She understands the limitations of naturopathic practice and operate within these boundaries.

 

Important Information

Junko offers Naturopathic services to complement your primal care and to educate practical self-care recommendations. 

 

Naturopathic services are not suited for critical care, surgical or emergency health situations.

 

Due to the complex nature of health conditions and the individual commitment involved from each client she cannot guarantee specific health outcomes.

Naturopathic services are suitable for people who are willing to make a commitment to sustainable and lasting changes in their health.

All content published and made available on this site is the property of Junko Okuda. This includes, but is not limited to images, text, logos, documents, downloadable files and anything that contributes to the composition of this site. You are welcome to share blog posts or other publicly available content through social media, but you must respectfully provide a link back to this website.

 

5. Payment Terms

 

You agree to pay the consultation fee specified on the website at the time of booking the service. A tax invoice will be issued via email.

 

Payments are securely processed online by credit cards or debit cards via Square payment platform.

 

Junko does not store your credit card information.

 

6. Delivery & Shipping

Prescription products can be ordered through the online dispensaries that Junko has an agreement with. You will receive ordering and payment instructions by email from these providers shortly after the consultation. If you have any questions about the delivery process, or in the event that an item is lost or damaged in the course of delivery, please contact the providers directly.

 

7. Appointment & Cancellation Policies

 

Junko does appreciate you contacting her as early as possible to allow your appointment time to be rebooked when it is necessary.

 

Appointment reminders will be sent 48 hours in advance to your registered mobile number and email address.

If you cancel or reschedule within 24 hours or are a “no show”, the full consultation fee will be charged. Booking an appointment is acknowledgement of this cancellation policy. You will also be asked to confirm this cancellation policy when you fill in an Initial Intake form.

 

If for any reasons Junko needs to reschedule your consultation appointment, no cancellation fee will be charged and she will provide as much notice as possible and reschedule to a date that suits for both parties.

 

Consultations are delivered online via Zoom platform or face to face. Please make every effort to be punctual. If you arrive late you may not receive the full duration of the session booked.

 

8. Product Returns

 

Junko is unable to provide a refund for any testing or Naturopathy services after the time that they have been provided.

 

Refunds are not available for prescription products that have been supplied to you, except when the products are faulty or fail to be acceptable quality upon receiving. Please notify Junko as soon as possible so that she can contact the manufactures or online dispensary providers for an exchange or refund.

 

There are no refunds on products if you change your mind.

 

9. Visitor Information

Respectful Communication

Junko reserves the right to delete any comments on her website or social media accounts which is rude, offensive or which she deem to be unacceptable. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact her first before leaving public negative feedback.

 

10. Jurisdiction & Dispute Resolution

This agreement is subject to the governing laws of New South Wales, Australia

 

Negotiation

If you have any concerns, issues or complaints arising out of your use of this website, her products or services, or these terms and conditions, you agree to communicate with her with the intention of making a genuine effort to seek mutual resolution, and trying to resolve the dispute through negotiation and discussion.

 

Mediation

If we are unable to resolve a dispute by negotiation and discussion within 14 days, the parties must proceed to mediation with the assistance of an accredited mediator who is independent of the parties. The mediator is to be appointed by agreement of the parties or, failing agreement within twenty-one (21) days of the first notification of the dispute, by a person appointed by the Chair of Resolution Institute, (ACN 008 651 232, Level 2, 13-15 Bridge Street, Sydney NSW 2000; telephone: 02 9251 3366, email: infoaus@resolution.institute) or the Chair’s designated representative. The Resolution Institute Mediation Rules shall apply to the mediation. We agree to share the costs of mediation equally between us.

 

Litigation

It is a condition precedent to the right of either party to commence litigation other than for interlocutory relief that it has first offered to submit the dispute to mediation. Litigation is to be considered a last resort and may not be commenced until, in the opinion of the independent mediator, the potential for negotiation and mediation have been exhausted.
